Caroline Ribeiro is one of the original Brazilian bombshells.

She grew up surrounded by family and speaks of many treasured memories in her lovely hometown Belem, in Brazil.

Since the very beginning, Caroline had plans to become a well-known fashion model. She moved to Sao Paulo as a teenager and worked as a model for about three years. When she realized it was going nowhere fast, she decided to give Paris a try. She managed to get a few modeling jobs there, but it still was not the break she needed.

One of her first runway shows was in Paris where she walked for, amongst others, Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy. She did not return to the runway again until 2003, other than the Victoria Secrets annual show.

Caroline was not on the runway, but she was busy with editorials in magazines all over the world. Publications like Vogue Italian, German, French and Spanish magazines, for several years in succession. Harper's Bazaar, Allure as well as Italian Flair and Vanity Flair, also interviewed her.

Ad campaigns were another niche for Caroline. Beginning with Max Factor in the year 2000 and Chanel in 2001, her face was familiar all over the country. In addition to cosmetic ads, she did fashion campaigns for Gucci, Oscar De LaRenta, and Louis Vuitton spring and fall collections.

Her story is of actress turned model and back again. In 1995, she was in "Young Hearts", followed by a guest spot on Anjo de Mim television shows. From here she turned to modeling and in 2005, she was acting again in Lower City.

In 2016, she returned on the runways after joining the rank of Olivier Rousteing's army for Balmain in Paris, where she opened and closed the show, and had the most heads of the "fashion sphere" turning.

The same year, Caroline Ribeiro carried the Olympic Torch organized in Brazil through her hometown of Belem, Brazil while another supermodel and good friend of her, Adriana Lima, lighted the special cauldron in Praça Mauá in central Rio.
